Claim-level classifications

Established

Well-established within the relevant discipline and the stated scope.

Documented claim

An attributable source contains the assertion; the underlying assertion is not thereby verified.

Under investigation

Evidence is being evaluated and a conclusion remains open.

Hypothesis

A proposed explanation requiring further evidence.

Disputed

Material disagreements or conflicting evidence remain.

Contradicted

Substantial evidence contradicts this particular claim.

Refuted within scope

This interpretation has been convincingly refuted within the explicitly stated scope.

Unknown

The available evidence is insufficient for a stronger classification.

Source-based publication

Entries cite the sources behind their substantive sections. Research and skeptical review can use separate Luna Max calls, but two outputs from the same model are not independent external verification. Supporting documents remain decisive. AI-generated drafts and graph proposals require editorial approval.

Corrections and history

Material updates retain the prior article version and a correction note. Translations are tied to the canonical version; a material change marks them stale until reviewed again.

What an unresolved observation means

An unidentified object is not proof of an extraterrestrial vehicle. An ocean is not proof of life. An ancient religious text is not an observed alien species. A government report does not verify every statement that it preserves.

Document rights and images

The registry links records at their original publishers. Restricted documents are not copied or embedded. Documentary imagery retains credits and reuse information. Enhanced color and infrared composites are identified as such. No generated image is presented as a documentary photograph.

Editorial control and privacy

The encyclopedia is publicly readable. Editorial access is restricted to its owner, and unrestricted public editing is not available. Operational controls, provider errors and AI usage records are protected. Aggregate site counts do not require visitor profiles.
